I had a pretty fancy 1980 f150 and it did not have one. But that doesn't mean it didn't come out later. My 1989 does have one, I see no reason why a later model would not fit in a older truck.
I had a guy offer to sell me the interior cab corner plastic trim but I’m absolutely lost on how the seat belts bolt in because my retractor is at the top while these are at the bottom and my current seat belts don’t have a spot to bolt through the hole at the top of the trim
When swapping parts around, you have to pick the place where you are going to stop with the new and go back to the old. If the plastic you want to use requires a different belt setup, then you need to get the newer belt setup along with the plastic. Do you have the proper bracket to bolt the different belt system in place? I don't know, but if you need to fabricate a bracket, that might the place where you finally stop and go back to the old

if I have to buy new seat belts I will I just can’t find pictures of trucks with that certain trim peice
I picked Kansas and pretended I was looking for a 1990 cab for a f150, and picked I wanted one with a headliner. Here's what came up. They may have more trucks around with the parts you need or they may sell you the trim out of these cabs. You can also try different years, the site is this one www.car-part.com
I might be wrong in this but it seems the corner trim with the retractor at the bottom was for a truck with bucket seats? While the one with retractor at the top was for bench seat trucks?

Not sure about that. I will warn you though, when you start messing with the retractor, it has to be positioned exactly how the factory had it. If you mount it different, you will never be able to use the seat belt, the retractor will be locked.
If you notice what you have now, once you fasten the belt, you can still pull the belt out and sometimes in, even though you are latched in. If you hit the brakes hard and try to pull the belt out at the same time, you will find it locks up. This is because there is a pendulum inside the retractor and lets it run free unless the pendulum swings. If you mount the retractor wrong, and the pendulum is to the side all the time, the retractor will lock up and not work.
