I did not. I used whatever brand Napa had. Not saying the new switch isn’t an issue but the openings in the housing are cracked and the sockets are really loose and don’t seem to make good contact with the circuit. I’ve already ordered it so I’ll try that and if the issue persists I’ll try a better light switch. Appreciate you guys!
Those glass fuse panels are awful. They were good when made but I haven't come across one yet that has been 100% reliable. I replaced the fuse panel on my 78 F150 and 77 F250 when either chasing gremlins or when repairing a previous owners "quick fixes" and shotty work. You can remove the independent power inputs and split out with ATC fuse blocks and straight through fuse blocks. I also added a Painless 7 circuit kit for 12V Key on add-ons and another for BAT+ power. The picture is a little old, I think I added a few more BAT+ connections to the block closest to the steering column and added a dual fan controller on the far right, but the concept is the same. Other than the Painless Harness I think it cost maybe $60. 77 F250
Wow Ken that looks really nice! I’m electrically ignorant so taking that on scares me a bit. I got mine back together. It’s not perfect but not awful. I think in the future I’ll have to come up with a better solution.
