Hi. I have a 1965 F100 longbed custom cab, 3.70 diff, 352 modified, and a five speed overdrive trans, wearing 31x10.5x15 Ironman Allroad AT's. They suck at tread life so I am looking at new tires, particularly the Falken WildpeakAT3w. Going down a size to 135/75/15 on 15x6 original steel wheels. While I was drooling over the tires I noticed that they had the same tire in LT 236/75/15 in load range E!
I have had E rated tires before on a one ton Chevy van and liked them and was considering them for my truck but keep getting steered away from them by tire rack and Falken website. What's the deal? Sounds like they wear faster and ride like ****, or rather, stuff. I drive aggressively and like a stiff sidewall...
What say ye?
