I was going to suggest mats that match the color of the carpet.

Dealer is installing the updated switch. Had to order it, as they haven't done one in 7 years. Service manager said the same thing, "nicest looking truck on the lot".

Raise the dead thread, but it is my own so oh well...
it isn't an OBS but i had to post it as it is beyond stupid.
I saw it yesterday and thought it would be a good little car for the daughter to take to college so she wouldn't have to fight a 4x4 extended cab truck around a university campus.... i figured if it was 1500 bucks or less i would consider getting it. Yes, i do now believe the dealership owner is a crackhead.
6,999 for a 98,000 mile 1986 Aries..... albeit it is 100 percent rust free.... but being the base model it is priced 1000 over new msrp.

In August of 1994 I bought a new 95 F150 Eddie Bauer edition SCSB 4x4 5.8L auto truck. It had every option available but 4.10 gears. Had dealer install 4.10 and remove 3.55's. What a difference it made to the truck too. Still driving the truck and in the process now of having transmission replaced at 181k miles. Has been a great truck and had it repainted green/tan to keep the original look which I always liked. Beginning to think about new springs as they seem to have settled an inch or so. Only real change other then gears was removal of center buddy seat and replaced with original look console with cup holders. Replaced seats with NOS seats I found at a Ford dealership that closed shop. Some day soon my grandson will have it and I know without a doubt he'll take good care of it.

After 17 years ownership of my $4850 purchase, I can safely say only a collector (more $$$ than sense) with a couple 10-20 car climate controlled garages, & full time mechanic with unlimited budget needs to spend 12K on it.
Scroll down.
