Good Morning Everybody!

I'm back from Mississippi. That pile of junk made me earn it this weekend. We broke almost every round. We managed to make all of them, but it was WORK! Just another day at the office, I guess. The show went on and the fans were happy, so we're happy. I have some parts to order and some welding to do, so I hope we can get it done and get south bound to Texas before the weather gets here. I won't be on here for a few weeks because we have a big tour loop coming up. Texas, then to New Mexico, then to Montana, then back down to Tulsa. Then I can come home for a few days before we head back out. ....build a monster truck, they said. ....it'll be fun, they said....

Wow Alan. Don't forget to take care of yourself on your adventure.

It's supposed to end up pretty nice today (50°) so I'm gonna try to get some outside stuff knocked out. Tomorrow looks like a different story. 50° but dropping all day with Rain, Sleet & Snow. Jury is out on how much accumulation.

good sunny february afternoon missouri.... i see everyone is busy busy busy.. me i just sit in this ole shack playing with tools and moving around appliances.. but it is better that being under some greasy ole truck freezing near to death drenched in diesel somewhere..... aint retirement great.. ha ha ha ha ..

alan will you be around friday afternoon?.. i have to be in branson friday and thought about maybe swinging by for awhile..

i had a guy stop by yesterday, because he heard i was selling my bus. .. i showed it to him but then kinda wish i didn't.. someone else told him i would take 10,000.00, which is 4,000 less than it cost me to build it and thats not even counting any labor.. then he asked how much wiggle room that leaves for negotiating a lower price.... i told him absolutely none!!! then he said it was for his dad and he didnt think he would pay as much as i was asking... so i 'politely' asked him to leave and that it would be in his best interest to forgot how to get back here...
i still will have to convince myself that i should sell it.. (

Penny's doc appt went ok, she has some more exercises for the Achilles tendon issue. And we stocked up on some food for the upcoming stay home weather. Then I got on the mower in a T shirt (and bib overalls.....) and ate up more of them damn leaves.

Evening Everyone!

I got a sudden change in plans. The Texas show just cancelled, because they're expecting the same weather we are. So I have some extra time to work on the truck. I just have to drive to St. Louis now to do it, but at least it's in a heated shop with everything I need.

I pulled the spare yoke out of Earthquake today and replaced it with a new one. Now we have our spare back. It was a spare because one of the little tabs that holds the cap from sliding out was broke off. That strap was piened over so the cap wouldn't slide. It got us through the show, but probably best to swap it out. Mark ordered three new ones, so we should be good on yokes for a while.

RC. Yeah, I should be here. I'm not going up to St. Louis until Saturday.

Well it is sure nice outside, to nice to be having any rain, cold, sleet, ice and snow hit us in the next day or to. Crazy Missouri weather for sure. Alan bummer that you got the shows CXl, but beats being stuck in bad weather, outa town and on the road.

Good Morning Everybody!

Rich. Yeah, I thought we would be safe down in Texas, but I guess the whole state is going to get some winter weather.

I have a leak in one of the transport tires on EQ and my r/r tire on the pick up is leaking, so I'm gonna get those fixed today. I'm sick of having to put air in tires all the time. I booked another show for EQ last night. We'll be in Van Buren, Mo. again for their 4th of July festival on July 2nd. It's a display and car crush if anyone is in the neighborhood. They'll have a car show, too, It was a good time last year.

Good day youins, I'm on quarantine, so working from home this week. You might see me on here a little than normal. Unless this morning is an indicator of the upcoming week, I'll be busy as can be.

Man what terrific weather. Took the dog for a walk this morning in a light jacket and started sweating! Then took Mom’s dog to the Groomers, washed my dog while I was there and then ran errands. With the car windows down! Dogs were in heaven.

Yesterday I got a little time with the 56. Installed the door locks, inside regulators, and the drivers side trim channel. Stuck the window in and shored it up to let the glue set. Really need to get the cab water tight Incase the frame shop needs to leave it outside. Boy will I be glad to get this truck back on the road.

Covid positive? Stay on the meds, (prescribed and or over the counter), staying hydrated is a must, eat (even though you might not want to) and sleep/rest as much as needed. But also keep active as you can, to help keep it out of your lungs.

I have a young nephew (30 ish) that is waiting on a double lung transplant because of it......
