I like the look of the old bobber style..

 

I like the Electra Glide style, all dressed with saddle bags and huge tour pak.

 

I'm not as fond of those for the looks but imagine for cross county touring they'd be the ticket. If I were ever to have a bike it would be for town cruising and short trips ..

 

You better have a real good back to ride that on our lumpy streets!
My Honda was perfect for in town cruising and short trips, no problems on the highway either till my hips and back gave out.

That was my Honda till I sold it in Aug 2021..
In 1973 I had this 1972 Kawasaki Z1/900, it the fastest production bike that yr.

 

So did you live in the city where that picture was taken..

 

Not me.......nope never till I absolutely have to. I was too lazy to take my own pic of the Honda, that was from the ad when I bought it in 2010.

Those were a pretty popular bike in the day.
