install kit

Does anyone make a cd player install kit for an 1979 F 150? i havent been able to find one but i havent looked really hard. i assume you have to cut the dash right? any help would be appreciated

I have a 74 and had to adapt a kit for a later truck, and cut the factory bracket
it came out pretty well, but I think I saw one for a 79
but I could be wrong

I helped my friend install one in his 79, we didn't use a kit, and it wasn't that hard.

well if they dont make one it aint a big deal. i just cut the metal dash on my old 74 chevy i used to have. i guess ill just have to see. they have kits for for vehicles that cover the 79 year but it aint exactly for the f 150. ill just have to figure something out. thanks for the replies

you might want to get a kit for a later truck and adapt it
it 's easier when you at least have a sleeve to work with
