The closest I've seen to "black chrome" is step bumpers by Westin, Smitybilt, etc that have been powder-coated black. You might check out their websites and see if they have dress-up goodies for your truck. I like the polished black look too, myself, but everything seems to be ss, chrome or that carbon-fiber look. Oh well, to each his own...

I used to work for a chemical company that supplied platers with black chrome. One of the problems that we had was that the black chrome, unlike bright chrome, is a relatively soft metal. You need to treat it, literally, as if it were pure gold. Unfortunately, people never did, and then complained when they scratched it or polished it off. Unless its since been changed, I think the manufacturers may have decided it's not worth the trouble.
