Intermittent Rough Engine
I have a 99 Mountaineer with the 5.0 V8. It will sometimes idle and run rough then it goeas away. When it gets bad I change the fuel filter and that corrects it temporarily. I had the injectors cleaned and it was OK for a short period. I put new plugs in and it ran great for a while. Now it will run great one day and then it will have a day where it runs really rough.
