Temperature control cable

Hey guys and gals, i finally got the temp control cable off my 82’ F100 Flareside and of coarse i have the wrong cable. Does anyone know where i can find a new or even used temp cable? Non a/c just the temp cable. I can cable tie it for now but would lije to fix by winter. Thanks

Where did you get the wrong cable and does it have a part number? What's wrong with it? Too long? Wrong end? Aftermarket parts tend to be wrong, and everyone sells the same wrong part.

Wrong cable

The cable i got i believe on ebay is Ford DOHZ-18552-A. Both ends are have to mounting plastic ends. Plus is about 18” to short. Ill try and figure what it goes to and try to find the right cable.

Aren't there two cables on the heater controls?
