1980 good old ford
Well ill have to agree with 1 thing you said it was a good old ford back in 1980, but I had a 79 myself and between the accelerator pump leaking, choke sticking, and loose driving front end I sure do miss how easy it was to work on. P.S on the serious side most dealers should be able to reset everything for 100-150 ,just a guess , I know I would, but hay I dont own a dealership either.cheaper than a scanner

Maybe I'M paranoid, but I think ProEMTPFF has a hot truck. His story just doesn't add up. His fathers friend owns the local dealership and he is afraid to go to him to get a repair??? Sorry, my BS light is going off. Also the "High" security clearance? oooh, What the heck is THAT all about?

PRO.. i just want to say that the question that you have posed does raise serious ??? as to why you don't take it to the dealer, Hmmmm... and then your response to the members here at fte is not very "friendly" and to your "high security clearance" so what, and if you really have one, then you should'nt be discloseing what you know, very unprofessional, for a man of your "rank," try not to take this the wrong way, but look at it from a differant perpective and reread your question, then rethink your response's. this is not meant to

Had the clearance, that can be disclosed. Doesn't matter now any the truck is fixed now with the same miles it had on it "ROFLMAO" in Oct. when I first asked the question. I went on alot of hunting trips too this year to AL, GA and SC.
