Engine noise HELP!!!
Hi everyone
the noise that i hear is the pvc valve .i replaced it with a new one and it still makes that rattling sound and i mean LOUD . makes the truck sound like it gots some marbles up in it rattling around.when i take it out put a rag over it, the truck just sounds so quite it is is a 300 straight six,she runs great no loss of oil or water not burning oil it has 68000 miles

Is the grommet that it sets into in good shape? It may not be holding it well this causing the PCV to rattle internally. Also how much is the engine itself shaking? Being straight up and down as they are, the sixes tend to move side to side more than the eights. Check your motor mounts for looseness or wear.
