Exhaust Temperature Sensor Error Codes
2017 F250 6.7. Check engine light came on. Stopped at O’Reilly’s Auto and had P2033 and P2084 codes (exhaust temperature sensor bank 1, sensor 2). Purchased HC3Z-5J213-B temperature sensor from Ford and replaced the 2nd of 4 sensors looking from front to back.
Purchased a Innova code reader and used today to clear the codes. Device says erased successfully but code 2084 persists and says “permanent”. Check engine light is still on.
What to do now?
