Purchasing a 2019 3.2 L Ford Transit van. Towing 2000 pounds

The van has about 15,000 miles on it. Does anybody have experience Towing 2000 pounds? I would like to get an idea of how many miles per gallon I will be getting mostly City since I live in Los Angeles

I am renting a ProMaster van right now and it's getting about 8 miles per gallon

I was towing 3500lb trailer (weight was around 3000lb) and my van was loaded with 7 or 8 passengers with personal belongings, so the fuel mileage was getting around 13-14mpg.

Sorry to tag onto this thread, but even though I have done it before, I can't seem to figure out how to create a fresh thread.

My SIL is considering buying a used 2017 class C motorhome. It has a 5 cyl diesel, 39 K miles. Any words of caution or things to look, out for?

Tom
