Maybe someone has a better idea. I purchased a new Ford part number YL1Z13K359-AAA about a year ago and when turning on the right turn signal, sometimes it doesn't auto cancel. The light stays on, doesn't blink, just stays on. I thought about replacing it again but apparently this part is in demand. I paid about $90 and now the price has shot up to an astronomical $300 or more.
Also, it appears the 2000 and 2001 models use a different part number than the 2002 - 2005. Is this correct?
Do I have a defective combo switch?
Has anyone had luck with any of the aftermarket ones from Rock Auto?
These are even less expensive for the Standard Brand, but Motorcraft is out of stock.
Apparently the 2002 and 2001 use different Combo switches. At least they list different part numbers. The Ford OEM part number for the 2001 is YL1Z13K359-AAA
Did you find the STANDARD MOTOR PRODUCTS was equivalent in fit & quality to the OEM?
The links there are for a 2001 Diesel and V10, on RockAuto, and are way less cost than mine was. It seemed to be exact in everyway, a complete duplicate. Have had no issues with it.
