They did fit a rusty set of flowtech headers i had. Bought headman 89183 headers too replace them and could not get the headers to fit on my 70 f-100 4x4 at all. They do fit on my 76 f-150 4x4. Bought sanderson ff427 headers and starter would not fit. So it is hit or miss. My stock starter was 7 5/8" long from. Bolt flange too the end. 4 1/2" diameter. The msd is 7 3/4" long and 3 1/4" diameter. Hope that helps.
