You are correct. Consider it a typographical error. The 1996 and 1997 are nearly identical.
Thanks for the reply and I had just a bit of knowledge regarding this "transition" year for the F250 as being either a LD of HD with the LD being somewhat of a carryover of the F150 odd as that sounds.
I wasnt aware of the 1996 and 1997 being nearly identical since I never had much of an interest in a 97 until purchasing an F250 this past December.
