Issue With IDS and my SVCI J2534 device

I know a while ago there was discussion about the SVCI J2534 device and using IDS. Some people were having issues. Anyways, when I first got mine, IDS v113 was current and I was able to use bi directional controls. I have not needed it for a while and upgraded to v117. Anyways it still works sorta. I can connect and run most test but I have no bi directional controls now. Is any one using v117 and getting them to work?

If you're using Factory Authorized you shouldn't have a problem, clones are another matter altogether. The Ford/Bosch VCM2 and VCM3, along with the Bosch MasterTechII equivalent should support J2534-1 and J2534-2 -- i doubt the cloned versions work properly. That IDS V117 sounds old/cloned too..........they're way past that now.........V118.05
