-->This truck started life as a CP&L (Carolina Power and Light, now Progress Energy) service vehicle. The factory engine is an inline six. This truck was bought at Progress Energy auction by a man intending to complete a restoration/hot rod. Unfortunately for the truck, the man's wife got pregnant and he sold it to me. I had the same intention as he did originally and got down the path a little farther than he did. But again, fate reared its ugly head. My health has deteriorated over the past few years and it looks like my dream is never going to become true. So, once again, the truck is for sale with a truck load (pun intended) of performance parts and a clear North Carolina title.



I had decided to go with the inline six as everyone else under the sun has an 8 cylinder. The truck has very little rust mostly on the bed. It also has bucket seats from a Honda (a mistake on my part) and I do NOT still have the stock seat. The wood part of the bed floor is gone but the polished stainless-steel retaining strips are intact. I have installed a B&M auto transmission as the stock 3 speed seized when a bolt fell out and the lube drained out one fine night on the way home. GRRRRRRRRRRRRR!
