The City has laid off about a third of the Fire Dept. and that's who will be called if those fireworks catch the dry grass on fire.

Those citations that the Police are writing need to help offset the cost of the Cities expenses.

Good hot, hot, hot Moanday evening Illinois and Ford Truck enthusiasts, Ken, Sean, and Don!
94° today with humidity enough to cut with a knife.
We took Macy to the vet today for her yearly shots and on the way home we ran through a cloud burst that wasn't enough to wet the streets. Just made it muggier.
Expecting more of the same for tomorrow.
