Morning Jim and Shawn. Shawn, not to late to sign up for the FTE Rally in Gettysburg. It would be nice to see you and your bride there next month.

Good morning Shawn. Where you going camping?
I need to replace the cooler unit in our camper fridge. Crapped out before we went camping last year. Sucks using ice and coolers for a week. Hopefully the state parks do open on 6/25 because we have reservations starting on 6/26

I had to replace the fridge in our 5th wheel a couple of years ago. Was cheaper to replace it than to fix it. Ammonia tubing was all shot. Going to Brookside up in enosburg for a couple of days. Friends from Florida camp there all summer. Small campground in the middle of nowhere.

Ours was propane and electric but all the ammonia tubing was shot in the fridge so just replacing the cooling unit wasn't an option. Replacement Dometics are expensive for what you get. If I ever have to replace the fridge in the TC I will go with one of the new compressor units. With solar I have plenty of power to run a compressor fridge and they don't have the issues associated with propane.
