New posts.

Why come when I hit the new posts button, my threads or threads I'm the last person that posted in don't show up in the list?

Is it because I'm just a lowly "freshaman user"?

Is it because I should remember where my threads/posts are?

Is it because "Aliens"?

Am I shadowbaned already?

Howdy Jack...welcome to FTE...when you post in a thread you are subscribed to that thread and you will receive notice in your User CP when someone else posts. You can also check your subscribed threads by going to your User CP and on the left side of the screen look for "Subscribed Threads". Hope this helps.

By the way...please keep politics out of the threads...they're reserved for "The Club"...as per FTE rules. Thanks.

Thanks for the reply.

Edited the attempt at humor.

Just wondering if there is a post count before I can trigger the new thread list or if subscribed threads don't show there for me?

you have to refresh the page to show that you posted in the thread.
if you make a post and backspace to the page it will not show you posted.
but it you then refresh the page your post will appear.

if that makes any sense.

Because the software sees your post as the last post, and since it's your post, nothing "new" has been posted after you yet, so it still registers as an "old thread" until such time someone posts after you. When that happens, the system see's the new post and it will show up in your User CP subscribed list of threads as having a "new post"
