Straight pipe, level 3 or 4 Tyrant. Nice rumble/diesel sound, good idle tones, with a strong turbo noise when you are driving past a barrier on the passenger side.

Do I need to replace the resonator or am I able to use it with this ?

You can keep the factory resonator. That's what I did. I also kept the factory tip.

It's 2 bolts at the front pipe connection, 3 bolts at the rear pipe connection and the 3 hangers. You replace with your selected pipe and the rest remains factory. Unless you want to change the rest, which is doable. Your decision as to how much you change. On the truck I've been referring to, he only did the mid pipe and left everything else alone. He seems very pleased with it. I like the way it sounds and it runs really, really well.

I did that as well. We ran a 4 " pipe with a 36 in x 8 in round muffer in the pipe. Quiet inside totally. Outside I can hear the difference some what but once warmed up not bad.

Nope, it's built into the DPF (at least on mine it is).

For those running the 5" exhaust Turbo back or down pipe or just straight pipe where the any complications such as Not being able to keep a spare tire located underneath from installing. My tires are 35x12.5x20 , the spare tireI reais 35x12.5x18 On the factory steel rim I don't want to not have the spare tire with me . I read somewhere that if you run a 5" exhaust that you cannot keep your spare tire.. Thank you I'm just trying to figure everything out because as of the 5th of next month I am purchasing everything.

I told you before, crawl under your truck and look at how the exhaust is assembled. You haven't done that yet.

I have 4" aftermarket exhaust, and I fit my 37" full size spare under there! To say I was excited would be an understatement. I lugged around a spare in the bed of my 7.3 for years.

I have a 5” and all is well. A 35/12.50/18 spare should fit.

When towing up MT Eagle with 20,600LBS and my foot to the floor doing tune testing, it never went over 1100°s. EOT was 250° and trans was 235°. Patriot 450 tune. Drone is noticeable with a 5” and no muffler. It’s bad when towing.
