N series truck owners

Fit and finish on the hoods. Mine are possibly tweaked out of shape. I know truck bodies back in the 60's left a lot to the imagination on their fit and finish, but did the curved radius match the cowl when they were new on the lot? The gap between the hood and the fender seems a bit large too. I haven't looked close enough at the adjustments yet, I hope there are adjustments. I also see where there are many different style front bumpers on the N-series. Some do look custom, but many look factory. I really like the one with the three matching round holes centered in it. It reminds me of the late 50's F800 front valance, anybody know the year of it?
Thanks in advance

Seems all the N bumpers I look at on the net (we never got them down here) have a straight-ish I girder look pressed steel with 2 elongated rectangles towards each end.
I like the look of the H series bumper (below) which is similar with 4 large round holes in the centre.

LOL, that is the one I like too. I'm starting to think it might have been only on the later model diesel trucks. That or they were swapped over from the trucks like in your pic you posted. As you said all the N-series truck I have seen in Michigan here had bumpers like you explained. The truck I purchased was shipped to the central Indiana area.

There are only two possible front bumpers for the N series.

1963/69 N/NT800/1000 (some with gas some with diesel) used the same front bumper as 1961/66 F750 & 1961/69 F800/1100 (gas/diesel). I believe this bumper has the 3 holes in it.

1963/69 N500/750 used a different bumper.

Thanks for your input Bill. I didn't even think about checking part numbers. I will be putting that bumper on my wish list.

Well, the old grain bed had to go. Every time I removed a bad part to the bed I found another problem. I still have to mount my front fenders and step skirts.
