Thanks for the bump. I updated it on Bullnose forum and forgot this one. My bad.
To our surprise, the vacuum pump, less than 2yrs old, was failing. My master tech buddy replaced it under warranty, and did a good traditional bleeding.
That did the trick. She brakes like a Bullnose now again. Not bad for its era.

Thanks for the update. Very interesting that a bad vacuum bleeder was the problem. Maybe it wasn't building up enough force to draw fluid through the brake proportioning valve, and so air was staying trapped between the valve and MC? Who knows, but glad to hear you got it fixed.

Just to be sure you understand, I meant the vacuum pump that's driven by the fan belt. That's what was failing, causing the remaining brake issues at the end of this saga. No relation to vacuum bleeding. Vacuum bleeding actually seemed to do more harm than good, btw, if you read back thru this thread.
I fully agree on the futility of vacuum bleeding, and remember the conversation well.
I was quite surprised when I thought your shop had done a vacuum bleeding and all was good again. I had even started to write a diatribe, expressing my shock that it worked. Then I decided to get off my high horse and just be glad it worked. Turns out I was in left field. Again...
