You must remember them from when they played in Brooklyn. This is only the second time these 2 teams have net in the World Series...the last time you were much younger...it was 1916...you were knee high to a grasshopper. The Saawx beat the Brooklyn Robins in a 5 game series. A nobody by the name of Babe Ruth pitched game 2 for the Saawx...a 13 inning shutout!!! Casey Stengel played for the Robins. Interesting facts...this is the first time 2 minority managers have faced off in the World Series...and...the first time the 2 managers played for both teams involved. You may remember a certain stolen base against the Yankmees by Dave Roberts a number of years ago. Saawx fans certainly do.

I'm thinking that it's lunch time here boys. Looks like a BLT on toasted white whith some homemade coleslaw for me...there's plenty if you get here soon. I'm also thinking that there might be a nap after lunch.

Evening Jim...you're right on the nap...one of my favorite things to do in the afternoon. During my working career...I never got to take afternoon naps...not even on my days off. I'm making up for it now!!!

I definitely enjoy my naps...you'll one day realize that they're one of the best gifts you can give yourself.

Im sure ill find out one day, but for me at this moment in life....If I go horizontal I sleep for 3-4 hours or so. Not quite a nap, and it ruins my nights sleep.

Yeah...gotta be careful...3-4 hours is my norm for "work" days when I'm up by 0330 and function on only about 5 hours sleep. Some patients at the clinic sleep through most of their treatment...makes me jealous. I can't do it...too much noise...and...every half hour. I generally get in a 20 minute nap...but...that's it.

I always have a book with me...I can generally read for about 1 1/2 hours before my BP drops to a level where I have to lay back in the chair. Once that happens...it's nap time...really can't read in the laid back position.

Did you get hit with MA Natures nastiness this afternoon??? There were some nasty hail storms south of here...and...a tornado touched down in Lincoln RI. We just had some showers here.

Ah, well that makes sense, I know when my Father had a recent stint in the horsepital he was having some blood pressure issues, made it to the point that they wouldnt let him move out of bed without help. They finally tested his BP sitting and then immediately when he stood, it dropped 30 points! once they found that they were able get him back on track.

We got a bit at the house, mainly rain, saw some either ice chips or pea sized hail come down for a few minutes, but no damage.

My BP is taken at least 15 times on treatment days...in general...the standing BP ill be lower than the seated BP...I'm often times the opposite. They take standing before and after treatment. My resting BP is generally around 125 systolic...at times during treatment it will drop below 110...that's when I lay back...I'll often times drop below 100. There have been 4 occasions here my systolic suddenly dropped into the low 70s...night night time for me...staff had to take emergency measures to wake me up. That includes laying way back...feet above head...oxygen via nasal canula...and...fluids through the lines. The staff absolutely rocks!!!

I'm out of here...game is getting ready to start. GO SAAWX!!!
