Ron, I work for county government and the IT department is in my building. I can pretty much tell when they are having one of those days and steer away from them....lol.

Yeah, getting close to that point.

I really need to consider taking a day or two off, been running non-stop since after Truck Nationals and the stress is building a bit.

First weekend of August. Right after I got back, we went on a glut of setting culverts that hasn't really let up all that much - everyone waited til the end of summer I guess. And the coordination to get these things in the ground is madness - for a number of reasons.

Yeah that is a long time to go without taking some time for yourself. I try to take at least a day a month for myself but that does not always happen. I took 8 days including the 4th of July this year and went until Labor Day. Then I made it a 4 day weekend and I also just took the Friday off two weeks ago that with Columbus Day, made for a 4 day weekend. My next time off will be for Veterans Day, then Thanksgiving and Black Friday. I also am taking from Christmas Eve to the day after New Year's off. Then it is my busy time with a office move before February and it is my busy time.

Right now I have a total of 7 days that I can burn and still save a week for 2019 to cover all the shows I plan on going to. 2 personal days, 5 vacation days. I figure day after Thanksgiving (since we don't honor it as a holiday), Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve account for 3 of those days, leaving 4 to go. I'll sort something out in the interim.

FYI - Western PA peeps. I got a new fridge for the garage last week. West Penn Power is picking up the old one & an old dehumidifier that I don't use anymore today & paying me to do so! Apparently, all of the First Energy companies do it. Not sure about Duquesne Light. They also provide rebates on new appliances that you buy as long as they are Energy Star compliant. I don't know about all of you, but I'm a fan of money in my pocket!

A few years ago my 25 year old fridge was about to sheat the bed...I was informed by a local appliance store that if I submitted to an energy audit...I would qualify for a 75% off rebate on an Energy Star certified unit. I bought a $1000 fridge for $250...delivery and take away free. As a bonus...I got a few squiggly light bulbs for free also!!!

That's what I'm talking about, Pat!!! $$$$$

Bill,
This wet weather has been throwing everything into the *****ter. I can only imagine how frantic the schedule is right now and the continued lack of favorable weather is like being in a hole & just digging deeper.

Yeah, this rain has not been good to us at all. Just kept pushing jobs back and back and back and now we're on a rush to get it done no matter what. I think it was the 19 hour day I had a week or two ago - we sent out 38 trucks, total, with pieces on them, and anyone who could tech a job was out on the road.
