Yeah it would. I could have let it at the shop and picked it up but if something happens and they need to call me I might not be able to answer in a timely manner since we're setting a culvert some 50 feet below grade.

That is one deep trench. Curious.... how big is the culvert?

The box is 10' x 10' (if I remember right) and the run is 680 feet long. It's a big run.

Morning folks and happy hump day. Already in the plant to grab the truck and all my stuff to go set culvert pieces. Hopefully the day goes by fast...we'll see.

Good morning, Gang! Got another short day in the office.

Confirmation was a success last night. Now he made the cut for the Select race at the annual invitational cross country meet today. I'll be heading out shortly after lunch to cheer him on.

Don't you just love when that happens?? It was a very common when I was out doing filed work on construction jobs. You need to be there early just to wait around because they are not ready for you to do the work they asked for. Or you get on site planning that you will be doing this but the site supervisor asks you to do something else that you do not have the calculations done so you end up doing them in the field.
