P0676 after PCM removal + p0683 GPCM
#16
If I were me, (and better looking), I would just do the opt in and replace all glow plugs so I had a bench mark.
That is the first I heard of a gp failure resulting from a ts chip change or install.
(regardless if it's something you want to hang on and drive, just do it)
You might be surprised. Other thoughts are uvch in question.

NOW.... here's the update. I was able to get a few more turns on that 10mm bolt for the PCM. Currently, no CEL at all. Just drove it 10 miles. Idles and runs like a top. Starts normal. This truck angers me LOL. I'm gonna let it sit over night and start it, see what happens. If #6 pops up, I will guess it's the GP.

Mine was a P0237 after chip install:

Resolution was R&R PCM in a specific order:

Resolution was R&R PCM in a specific order:
I installed and secured the PCM in place, made sure all was well. Then I went into the engine compartment and carefully lined up the harness plug, started the bolt by hand with a short socket and tightened as well as I could, then used my generous combination of extensions and swivels to snug it down.

Pretty common, and an easy fix. New to you truck. Right,
Echo what I said before. Just replace all glow plugs with OEM, nothing else.

If the Glow plugs are old, so is your clock. If after the GP change out and you still get this code. UVCH or 42 pin problem.
In General if you don't change your glow plugs like spark plugs every 5 years, in the winter climates, put heavy weather gear behind the seat. Warmer climates still get a residual for start ups.
I'm in the North.

It does seem odd it keep popping random GP codes, P0680 is for the module . I would start over, pull your chip and retroubleshoot your glowplugs, ohm out wires/check voltage from the Module---> UVCH--->GP's. double check all connections to and out of the GPM and UVCH.
Did you check the connections for #6 GP? if the connections are good replace the GP. The OHMs are starting to creep up on the other GP's as well.
At this point I would OHM out the passenger side GP's if they are around 1.5 and GP3 is 0-ohms or higher then yes I agree with everyone else it getting time to change them all since your are gonna open that side also.
