Strategy Code...5 Star

How or who can determine my strategy cod on my V10 EX? Is that something that can be determined by the plug and play CPU at Autozone? I am wanting to give all correct info to 5 Star so that my unit arrives pre-loaded. I don't want to have to do it after I recieve the tuner. Thanks guys.

No you need a Ford scan tool to see that. I didn't want to mess with it after I got the tuner either, but it only. took them like 2 hours to send me my tunes after I plugged in the box to the truck. Super easy and not the big deal I thought it would be.

It seems like they could know that by having the VIN.

It’s on the PCM. I think it’s on the front or back. Its 4 digits, letters and numbers. Easy to find.

Left side firewall by the parking brake. The connector is on the engine side. And I think the code is on the inside by the parking brake. IIRC you need to unbolt it and look on the side of the PCM, it mounted in a black plastic bracket.
