NEWBIE FROM NEW MEXICO

Finally found an ol' original 1960 F100 4wd with original 223. This was a ranch truck from a small town in New Mexico, with one owner until 2014 when he died. It sat for another 3 years, when the widow finally gave in and sold it to the 2nd owner in 2017 who started it up occasionally, but never worked on it, I think. If it weren't for some rusted out fenders behind the front wheels, I would just clear coat the patina, but should replace those and some of the rusted bed panels. I will have lots of questions. for you old trucksters. - Chuck

Thanx, Mr Majestyk. I felt it was a great deal! and a very good truck with a ranch history. I had to drive 100 miles to the backside of New Mexico to make the deal... quickly. It has a great history, and the rust behind the front wheels is forgivable and fixable. I am basically the 2nd owner, with a friend having bought it from a recent widow (of purchaser and first/only owner from 1960 till 2017). It is completely original. and is a driver. I bought it quickly.
