Icu problems
Hello all, i have a 95 f150 canada import, the fuel gauge and temp gauge were not working so i swapped out the icu with a different one, both have tachs. The fuel and temp gauge were working but the volt meter was not and alt. not charging the battery. The alt charges when the orginal icu is in but not the other one. Is there any difference in the circuitry between the "american" icu and the "canadian"? Besides one reading in kilometers and the other in miles.

I do not know what an icu is but if you are talking about the gauge cluster.
Then circuitry is the same of the same year cluster.
You did not say what year the cluster is out of but I would guess it is out of a 1992 or 1993 truck.
If so no it will not charge without swapping wires in the plugs.
