Currently moving from Wisconsin to Wyoming with a 96 Ford F250 5.8 liter pulling a 1969 bumper pull camper with evrything me and my wife own 21000 lbs 1300 miles so far... Funny i say lol becouse ive had the truck 8 years and have had to do very little to her even after using her for just about evrything hauling a 62 foot trailer house 62 miles. farm materials skidsteers scrap firewood work to and from shes got 192000 miles and ive had to do fuel pump for it not to be the problem fuel silinoid map sensor fuel regulater fuel filter to running a jump wire to togal switch water pump 3 times due to leaking to serphantine belt to the idle pully to belt tentioner pully.... Stopped in lead South Dakota for work due to all these issues to make money and if you have ever been here its all up hill both ways.... The job site is at the top of the mountain probly a 15 to 18 percent grade for 1/4 mile i mean its practically straight up and down ...... Fixed porch with nothing but trees they had down already used truck to skidd the logs and logs for fire wood... Up this freaking hill crazy and now we have 220 miles left of the move and we have monster hills to go up before we come down into sturgis to interstate 90 pulling this camper with about 21000 lbs most of these hills im only going about 25 miles an hour when i reach the top.... So ya im a ford fan for life at least this old girl shes a 96 f 250 5.8 liter dana 50 front end not sure on the back beefed up suspention standered 5 speed factory motor so i believe after this trip i will be restoring this old girl to prestine condition.... thank you for reading.....
