Shocks

Hi, I'm at the point where Id like to replace my old shocks before the motor goes back in. My truck isnt stock, it has oversized shocks/brackets. Ive measured what i have now but I dont know how to go about finding some thatll work.The front is the main issue. There is a part number but I havent had any luck. Any help or advice Id take it. I feel like ive asked this before. Hope not. Thanks Nate

I've got Monroe 34900 on my 2wd F250. They handle the weight without being too stiff.

Measure the shock travel at full droop and full compression, then look up the shock manufacturer's shock specs. Aim for 60/40 or 70/30 as a ratio of compression versus extension.

Once I have my measurements would my best bet be contacting a company directly to find what I need? I doubt its a off the self shock. Thanks

This site shows a handful of cross reference numbers including Monroe 34824.

You can compare the extended and compressed lengths of your current shock to make sure...
