Random plug under dash need help identifying

okay guys in process of getting ready to swap back to auto when I found this random plug under my dash taped back with factory tape any help identifying would be greatly appreciated

Also went and looked at two other dashes I’ve got laying around neither one had that plug truck is a 96 f250 xlt

It looks like the one for the annoying door/ignition buzzer.
Well, similar to the one on my 97, but closer look, different configuration.
Theres one, dont recall looks, that is for trailer brake. That may be it.
Exactly where is it located?

Door/ignition buzzer, under dash, above and to right of throttle pedal.

My trailer controller plug is hooked up and the dinger one is disconnected to this is a separate plug it’s visible from below or when removing the lower dash panel around where pocket in dash would be at

My 10/95 has a plug like that to some box, it is right in front of the chime. Need a pic? PM me your number and I will text it to you.

No clue what it runs, not trailer brake harness. That is more under that Power Port dude.

Isnt that for the factory alarm or something like that? Mine has it as well and has a plastic cap covering it.

Yeah I went and looked at my other powerstroke cab and it has in stuck in a black cap deal

there are 2 boxes that are under the dash there.

One is factory keyless entry, and the other is the amplifier if you have premium sound.

Well if it’s for keyless entry that would be great as that’s something I’d like to have maybe someone with keyless entry could take a pick of there plug going into there’s for me to see if it indeed is for keyless entry be greatly appreciated
