Thanks that last set of pictures confirmed and matched where mine ended up. I had to cut a foot off the pipe I got in the "kit". I have it all wired up to the frame at the minute so I can fit the spare up to make sure it's good. That loop up over the axle is going to end up about 5 to 6" from bed wood. Will that be enough clearance?

I used the repop hanger kit too. The loop over the rear axle is next to the frame. I only have 450 miles since my truck has been back on the road but no issues so far. If you would like, I could take more pictures this evening.

Thanks a bunch. That's very helpful and based on that I think I'm pretty well set. I haven't located stock hangers but I have a pretty good plan for at least until or if I ever find them

Rich, since this is a pretty good thread and i'm sure it will be helpful to someone else later can you recall where you got the repop hanger kit? I have looked and cannot find them but it's probably the way i'm searching or looking. Or maybe they just don't make them anymore?

I looked back in my records and found that I had gotten them off ebay, most likely from Midwest Early Ford. They have the set listed for $35 on their site. There may be other sites as well but in a quick search I didn't find any.

Thanks, I just looked and they had them but they are discontinued. Probably why i can't find them anywhere

**Update. It appears there are a few of these kits still out there. I inquired about a set and they think they have a few left. If so i'll have it, otherwise back to searching.
**2nd Update. The supplier making that kit has apparently gone out of business. Many of the smaller venders haven't updated their listings to reflect that. Looks like i'm SOL

Always like to check out the pictures and it's one way to get them documented.
To be honest i don't think i would've gotten as far as i have on my truck without photos, rusty or not, showing locations of things and fasteners/etc

Chuck can get you a set of repop hangers like the originals. I have a few of the clamps NOS and they are exact replicas.

Hanger kit

Just an FYI for anyone else looking. Chuck confirmed what i kind of figured out, the maker of this clamp kit is no longer in business and nobody is producing them.
I've hunted everywhere for one in stock but nobody has any that I've found. Not a huge deal as i'm not doing a concours restore but it would've helped with the location/etc. As it stands i think i'm good to go with my setup I had planned
If you happen to have an extra kit, i'm a buyer.
