It really depends. A big question is how popular/in demand is the vehicle and what does it look likk physically. If it’s a showroom creampuff and you walk in lowballing the dude he’s gonna slam the door in your face.

i usually ask of the price is negotiable WHEN IM THERE in front of the guy. I don’t even talk price until I get there and look at the car. My biggest pet peeve is when some dumbdik calls and asks a few questions then he wants to make me a offer. Usually lowballing me. Since I really understand the game they’re playing what’s gonna happen is now they know you’re in some sort of desperate sale as you agreed to some ridiculous price. Then they co e out and start picking the car apart and then offer you even less. As soon as I hear them start talking price over the phone I just tell them I’m not interested in any offers unless face to face.

Im actually selling one of my trucks and the amount of scammer bs is incredible. I’m glad that I don’t have to sell it. I just don’t drive it much. It’s ok. I have no problem keeping it
