$100 just for the two letters? Then another $250+ for the grill itself...

It does look nice, but for that money I can do several more things to the truck which are really more necessary at this point..
I think I paid $189 for the grille then yes $100 for the 2 letters. A little high? Maybe, but it was worth it to me.

As a stand alone effort, yes, a little high. Like I said above, though, if I'm doing the front end upgrade, it makes sense to me to go this route at roughly a similar cost as to just having the plain old '05-'07 grille.

Pete, will this fit our trucks without modification?

The Amazon fitment guide says it is 05+, which it would need the typical trimming as with any 05+ upgrade effort unless you install a replacement 05+ bumper at the same time

I am also interested in the raptor grill. On eBay it says it fits 03 SD? Can anyone verify that? Thanks!

I think you have to get that verification from the seller.

That is an amazing look. Are those OEM headlight assemblies or aftermarket? If aftermarket, do you remember where you bought them?

Couple questions

Did you wire in the amber lights?

Is the finish stone/chip proof?

Deer proof? If so, I’m in!

The headlight assemblies are 2005 Harley Edition. I think I bought them from A&M auto parts online.

I did wire the Amber lights. The bumper finish is very tough. I imagine it would do quote a bit of damage to a deer although I haven't tried!

I dont think you can get the letter for the grille anymore . I beleive ford put a stop to that right after I got mine.

Thanks for sharing that info on the lights. I'm going to order a set from A&M. Also, is your grille gray or black?

I think the grill would be considered argent like the older fords used to get. It is definitely not black. It is a grayish color that happened to work well with my truck.

I have been very happy with the headlights. Aesthetic, light output, beam spread, all of it.
