Good evening Neil. Looked nasty when it first happened, but there was a lot of blood also. I put a lot of pressure on it, bandage and taped it. That picture was last night, so 24+ hrs after and it had been glued. I just hope I don't loose feeling in part of the pad

It was more of a diagonal cut. Kind of from the pad angled towards the bone. It was a scroll saw, a reciprocating blade. If it was a circular saw, would have been much worse
