Question Is a 2V head on a Mod. 3V block actually possible?

Has anyone done this setup running 2v 5.4 heads on a 3v 5.4 block? I've read on various Ford boards that it is a direct swap, (mechanically speaking), and this is what I was thinking of doing with my '07 F-150 project truck I'm in the process of tearing apart. But, I'm looking at the 2 valve head gaskets and there's some significant differences between the 2v and 3v in terms of oiling and cooling passages. It's got me thinking that perhaps this hasn't successfully been done before - aside from what the usual internet armchair mechanics may claim.

Any reliable input is appreciated.

I find stuff on changing TO 3v heads on a 2v motor, but not the other way.
