Well, the 'ol girl finally made it from KY to FL today - got the call from my dealer around 10:30A saying it was en-route on the final carrier transport leg of the journey, and then proceeded to kid me about ordering the wrong color - we had a good laugh. He knows I checked the WS already and was trying to track it via PALS (which was totally, utterly useless in my particular case), so I did not fall for his gag.

Got to the dealer around 2:30P but was closer to 4:45P when I finally left after all the paperwork and chit-chat. Then I had a 70 minute drive home, plus dinner with friends.

So all I had time to do tonight before I lost all daylight was remove the dealer front plate/tailgate sticker items, remove the 4x4 decals (beyond easy - just fingernail), and splash in my Enerburn/OptiLubeXL combo into the nearly full tank. Then it got too dark to get a good photo, so this one is a bit dark:

Later this week will be the Forscan changes and the 3-light rear LED strip installation.

She drove great - tires a bit too inflated but will remedy that soon. Very awesome truck!

 

Truck looks great. Congratulations. Sure seems like I see a lot more of these around town these days. When I got mine last November they seemed pretty rare.

I thought all Platinum's came with painted bumpers?

 

I have chrome handles and chrome mirror uppers. He has painted ones. Interesting!!!

 

Sorry for any confusion guys, but I apparently am saying the paint color incorrectly - it is a platinum white or white platinum color, and the model is a Lariat. Thus the chrome bumpers. 👍

 

Also one of the reasons I did a special order was to not get the chrome package so that the handles and the mirror caps stayed white just like the body of the truck.

nothing new as of yet, cotus only updates on Thursdays it seems. But date is still hopefully for the 27th. I drive by my dealer everyday on my way to and from work, and stare in their back lot best i can. Hoping I happen to drive by when they are unloading it as I see delivery trucks most mornings. Ill be calling my boss and telling him ill be late that day if thats the case.
I wanted to order wheels/tires and a leveling kit, but have to see how its going to clear my garage door first. Already got my carbon fiber tuffskinz inserts to be first mod to try and tide me over.

 

My garage is too low - truck will not fit even stock height. My tufskinz should arrive tomorrow. I'll put up pics by the weekend after I install them - went with Brushed Silver.
