This piece right here, just made me extremely happy. I started pinstriping again 4 days ago. This is an insane improvement. And I used 3 different brushes on it, and put my nick name in it.

Took a road trip to Byron to look at the Fleetwood American. There were a few small things that I found here and there. Tires are 3 years old with lots of thread, drives and rides good. Previous owner took out the carpet and put tile down, not my color but not bad. I have enough hardwood we did not use to redo it if we decide too. Everything works as it should. Really needs a good cleaning and detailing which they are doing tomorrow. I talked them down 8 grand off the asking price. We pick it up on Tuesday!!!

We went and watched bull riding in town last night and didn't get home till late. Got up early this morning and drove down there. We got there at 12 and started looking at it. Wife likes it but says it needs some love. Next thing I know it's almost 4 when we are pulling out. I am dead tired and we are slow at work so I took Monday and Tuesday off.

She is not perfect and I feel like I got a great price. I have to put some money in her to get it the way I want it but I am still way below book value.

 

So you going tow the Hummer or suburban?

The Suburban is 2 wheel drive and not towable 4 wheels down so not an option.

Original thought is to pull the Hummer since it can be pulled with 4 tires down BUT requires a 10,000 lb tow bar and base plate and they are not real cheap. The Hummer is so nice I would really hate to mess it up by pulling it behind the RV. But a rock guard and bra would lessen any potential for road damage. This is probibly the best and cheapest option at this point. Plus the wife loves her Hummer on vacation.

Last option is to buy a car trailer and put the 4runner on it. I found a place that sells new 20 ft car trailers for 1800 bucks. But do I really want a 20 ft trailer behind a 40ft RV while trying to get into a camping spot? I would like to get a 50cc scooter and that would give me a place to put it and anything else I could not get into the storage compartments.

I have a few months to make a decision so no rush.

You may want to pickup some Howes fuel treatment. I use to use seafoam but read some negative reports on it

 

Look in to a genturi. It vents you generator exhaust up.
