16* now according to the weather ppl... index is now 3*...

 

Howdy VA, the cold ain't got me yet! Highest I've seen the last who knows how many days was 15°F. Last night was the worst, windchill had us down to about -15°F and yours truly had to work outside in it.

Best part was some dummy drove off with the fuel hose still attached and I had to replace the breakaway joint. Combine cold tools, diesel all over your hands (no gloves), and the wind chill factor I was ready to go the heck home! Thankfully I at least had the service truck to hop in every five minutes to feel my hands again (let it be known the truck is a 6.0 and hi-idled for well over an hour and the coolant gauge never got off 'C').

I also gotta replace my oil cooler o-rings now cus apparently the 7.3 likes marking it's territory.

Charlie, I waved to you when I went by Staunton yesterday. Pretty chilly and windy where ever I stopped for gas. Wind gusts were blowing vehicles around a little bit.
