Woo-Hoo! Congrats, neighbor! Looks good. That shot of the seat bottom in the shade probably represents the color better than those in bright sunlight (I'm just guessing). Now tell me how you got it home without getting it covered in road-wash? You must be able to get to the dealer by nothing but back-roads. Got mine right after Labor Day and haven't had to wash it yet ... that is until after I drove to work yesterday (9 miles one way w/ no highways). It now looks like I've driven 100 miles in the snow.
Hey! And why didn't you clear your driveway in preparation for the homecoming? lol
The dealer is only 2 miles from the house and I didn’t clean the driveway because I don’t need to with a big truck like that.
Looks good in that light...I saw your other post with a lot of light.....I am glad you like it.
You did great!
Thanks, To be honest, I was a bit worried if I’d like it or not. I missed the seat leather change in the 2018 order guide. I didn’t realize it until after I placed the order and I saw some posts from guys on here about the new leather color.
Now that I have the truck the new colors really work well. It’s darker than the pictures show and there is just a hint of red that blends well with the wood grain on the interior and the ruby red exterior, for that matter. I am very happy with the new interior I think even more so than the 17my color scheme I test drove.
Does the seat fan come on with the heated seats or does it have the new system like the 2018 f150?
Not sure what the 150’s have but they are heated and cooled. I would assume the cooling is a forced air kind of thing but I’ll have to check when I get home.
On a side note, the massaging countoured seats are awesome.
The 2017 seats have heating and cooling plates in them and blow hot or cold air. The 2018 f150 has resistance heat like the xlt and it pulls air in cooling mode instead of blowing it out. This applies to lariat and up seats.

Where are you finding this info? I have not seen anything released about this.

Ew! Those seats are going to smell right rank after sucking in air from a bunch of sweaty *****, then add in "blow-by" gases and you'll have major yuck! Does not sound like an appealing feature to me. Those seats would literally suck.
