What's up with all of these ads?

The last few days, the site has been inundated with ads. I know they say they need revenue to keep the site going but this is ridiculous! In the past, we had the Tire Rack ad and more recently, the Haynes ad. But now, we have ads running all of the time and they stop any movement on the screen (scrolling). While I was typing this, the cursor stopped blinking too many times to be called useful. Don't know what I am talking about? Look down at the lower left corner and you will see a small window telling you what it is loading. Ridiculous!

You can add an extension to your browser called AdBlock; it will prevent the ads from showing. I use Google Chrome but I understand it will work for other browsers as well.

DOH! Apparently when I removed cookies a few days ago, my Ghostery got turned off. All is good again.

If you subscribe these ads go away . . . unless you logout and forget to log back in.
