That sounds pretty normal for a Wyoming garage lol.
I sincerely enjoy it. Yeah it can save a guy some $$ in the long run but I've found it's the best way for me to calm my nerves & relax. Some of it can get very intricate and complicated & some of it is so easy a novice can pull it off. It depends on what you want to do.
