Cannot delete a thread

Entropy . . . what eventually happens to threads
At first, I thought that the concept of “deleting a thread” was the equivalent of expecting reliability from Lucas electrics. . . . . remember that the Brits did invent intermittent windscreen wipers . . . . and they drink warm beer probably as a result of Lucas controls on their refrigerators. . . . . and Brit car enthusiasts have their own dietiy “ Lucas, the Prince of darkness,” but deleting a thread???
Entropy is the concept that all of the energy of the entire universe will eventually be dissipated (NOT deleted) to a point where the energy cannot be detected through technical instrumentation, or the most sofisticated and highly sensitive physical sensors. There would appear to be a total absence of energy, something less than absolute zero, but since energy cannot be created or destroyed, it’s still there, but so thoroughly dissipated that it is not detectable.
It is reassuring to know that within that body of undetectable energy are our THREADS.
See: Isak Asimov on Entropy.
Now, having added my nonsense to this nonsense, I am tired. My energies are sufficiently dissipated (NOT deleted) that I close by bidding you a good day and better tomorrows.
Good night from the Pacific Northwest!
