I painted just like that as there was no wind yesterday. The primer went on fine, but I needed a mask when I started painting blue. Seems that the rain today is going to hold off until late this afternoon so I may start painting a few other pieces. Need more kerosene for the heater though.

Came out as pretty good. Planning on some more tomorrow and/or Sunday, but will have to use my small space heater to bring up the temp of the trailer and the metal before applying anything new.

Did some painting yesterday despite the sub-freezing temps. Got the trailer up to 60 throughout the day and after letting things warm up for 7 or 8 hours I started the painting. Only issue was the lack of ventilation. I had to keep leaving the people door open which drained the heat away faster than I was expecting. I was still able to unload about 2.5 cans of spray paint over an hour or so though. I'll probably rough up the extra visible parts with some 400 grit and add a couple more coats early next week. Also found some nice satin clear coat that I will probably attempt to top coat with. Directions say that I can add to it any time so this 48 hour waiting period I have with the blue will be out the door.

I'll dig some out tonight when I get home. Put the final coats of blue on the rear panel and the coin door last night. Now I need to figure out whether I want gloss or satin clear coat. I pick up some more smaller pieces from my brother Saturday that he was sand blasting for me so those will need to be hit as well.

For those with Facebook, I have been chronicling the tear down and more currently the painting/reassemble process. There is a dedicated photo album for each.

For some reason the original link I left was invisible. I just updated it and it should show now. If you still don't see it just let me know. I don't post much of anything under my own account, I have a dedicated page called QuartersHomeArcade.
