CC5760CH is what you need, passenger side lower and transcooler built in with 1/2-20 straight thread. Can cool up to 650 hp.

YUP.... ^^^^. That's the one I got... I'm looking into having Champion move the upper center inlet over to the right a bit (passenger side) to match up with what a 289 radiator would require... and having these built for our 3rd gen Frige trucks... I'd rather pay a few dollars more to have a correct fitting formed hose than to have the "flex hose" there. The other alternative (as I was trying to point out above) would have been to go with the CC6164 if one didn't need the trans cooler built in (or was running a separate trans cooler).

Looking for 8' Flareside bed for my '57

Hello all... so my son and I, while looking to move the gas tank to the frame decided that it would be cool to replace the styleside with a flareside bed.. so I'm asking if anyone in Central Cal has one they know of that we could use?

looking for something like this but for the '57 long bed frame

As things are progressing slowly over Christmas... I've found two prospective flareside beds... one is available without fenders and tailgate, the other has been converted to a trailer... which to get...
bed is 350,

the trailer is 800 and requires a road trip to next state over.

Which should I get.... probably the better choice is the trailer... yah?

Just picked up a B&M 80680 MegaShifter Truck/SUV Automatic Shifter for the C4.... should begin to work on building truck next week.. first up, welding the 289 motor mounts and tranny mount....

Still looking for a seat solution... like the idea of seat belts built into the seat... but damn... hard to put Chevy or Dodge in a FORD..... suggestions?

My apologies... just haven't been able to get to spearheading this project yet... thought we'd have the engine mounts and tranny mounts in by now... needed to get a Torino out of the shop first before they could get to my project... really need this thing moving so I can get it officially weighed and finish registration... my custom plates are a watin'

So we've finally started this project.... boy's ignagural introduction... first job, take the 289 apart for the rebuild... so this was the same block that was in the bed when I drove it back from OR.. noticed that the thermostat was in backwards.. not a good sign and rather waiting for surprises down the road, I just decided it was best to tear 'er down and build nice and new...

I'm not sure it would be correct but I like the flat top flareside beds like the orange truck better that the angled top style of the trailer.

I like the flat as well... but I've only seen the angled ones for Fridge years.

so here's what I'm thinking... my 57 2x4 long bed... flare side bed and a 3" lift all around... front rack and piñon and disc brake conversion. Has anyone done similar as far as the rack/disc and lift? I know its only a 2x4 but that's the profile boy likes...

Here are some parts im kicking around
