yes, that 5.7D had lots of fleas. too bad you dont have the 79 square, not only is the 78-79 my favorite years of the square, but for collectors, any years rust free squares are the hottest sellers right now....

Ford is Ford.
Chrysler was bought by Fiat.
General Motors(Chevy) was bought by US Government with bail-outs.
Ford is the LAST USA vehicle manufacturer still going strong on it's own terms.
No more "Big Three", only Ford survived.
Ford wins.
Ford, "Quality is Job One." "Ford Tough" "F O R D"

And all these years through all the Fords I have owned, someone was saying:

Found On the Roadside Dead

Fix Or Repair Daily

and other less charitable things. Oddly enough, I have experienced the "First On Race Day" part...

but yes. too much money for too little quality. to rack up those miles means you do a lot of highway and you live no where near snow or rain. and if you are on the original powertrains it means neither has ever seen a trailer. bring em to PA and report back in 3 years. MY kids 1990 (used to be mine) is 27 years old in the rust belt and has far less rust than any of its neighbors made in the last 5 years.

And I will be at lowes in about 1 hour.
I guess my fifth wheel or my flat trailer dont count. Dont forget my enclosed trailer or the fact I haul tools daily as I`m contractor in the bed. Granted I only go to the snow 3-4 times ayear. You are correct I have many miles due to hwy time.
